NAR statistics show that more than 83% of real estate agents who get licensed, end up quitting the business within 18 months. That means that less than 2 out of 10 people get to achieve success in this industry.

 

Many agents fail for lack of support and lack of training. Others fail for lack of drive and motivation to do whatever it takes to become successful. Self improvement is a huge part of becoming a successful salesperson and too many agents aren't willing to invest in self development.

 

The bottom line is, if you're not going to make enough money, you will eventually quit!

 

You need to have a drive, something to push you forward, something you wish to achieve, to become, to do or to have and that should push you to take enough action to build momentum. Without it you will starve.

Some Q's & A's

How much time is needed to develop a six figures income?

That's a good question. The answer depends on the agent's drive and devotion and of course their ability to be coachable and follow through with action. The journey to six figures income can take 18 months if you devote at least 40 hours a week to generate and convert leads. 

How much money is needed until you become successful?

First of all you'll need to have enough money set aside to support yourself through the learning process and begin closing deals (minimum 6 months). So your cost of living X 6 months equals the amount of money you'll need in order to begin. 

Second, you'll need money to pay for your license, MLS fees, board fees etc. 

Third, you'll need money for marketing. I am talking about postcards, business cards, signage, social media advertising etc. The budget varies depending on how intense your marketing effort are. You can also start without the marketing, but you'll need to be willing to participate in daily prospecting and door knocking.  

Lastly, you need money to pay for training, coaching and self development studies. Going to seminars, reading books, hiring a coach/mentor, etc. 

Do I need to know a lot of people in order to start building a six figures income?

The more people you know the faster you'll begin to make money and the more sales you'll be able to close. Knowing people and developing relationships is a key component to making six figures and beyond. You should try to get at least 500 people on your sphere of influence list as soon as possible. 

What if I don't know anyone?

Well, if you just moved into a new area and you don't know anyone, you'll need to do one or all of the following:

  1. Buy leads from Zillow or a similar lead source (there are many ways to buy leads and many different types of leads).

  2. Begin prospecting. I am talking about cold calling and door knocking.

  3. Go to networking events, visit local businesses, connect with business owners and build a network.

  4. Devote time to develop your communication skills (negotiating, handling objections, calling for sale by owners, expired listings, for rent by owners etc).

 

The process is hard, but if you really want to succeed and you get in action following these steps you can become successful very quickly.  

What is the training like?

We offer online training library, videos you'll need to watch and do work assignments. In addition we have recorded group coaching sessions on our YouTube channel covering endless topics, watching these sessions is also a crucial part of your training.

Every quarter we do live training bootcamps on many different topics, the sales language mastery, the listing presentation, handling objections, working with buyers, prospecting and more. 

Also our role playing club is a major component of skill development. You will need to practice daily with different agents to help improve your phone skills, your presentations and your objection handling skills.

Expect to invest at least 2 hours a day training, and do it every day for the first 6 months. Then you will reduce to 1 hour a day ongoing. Learning and training is a huge part of becoming successful. 

Do I need to get any tools and technology?

At Circle100 we use RBO (realty back office) a transaction management software that helps you keep track of all your deals and use an E-signature paperless technology to work on the go. It also has a basic CRM component to keep all your contacts and help you follow up and keep track. We do recommend agents who can afford getting a more sophisticated CRM to do so (there are many good systems you can get from $50-$200 a month). There are other technological systems that we work with and you will be able to utilize these systems to help you ease the work load. 

What else is Circle100 offering?

We offer everything you'll need to become successful. If you are a brand new agent or a struggling agent, we offer 1 on 1 mentoring and hands-on training to help you get into momentum. We have an amazing supportive culture where agents help each other succeed. We offer hands on broker support, a real estate coach, marketing assistance, an office director, and a transaction coordinator who closes all your deals and saves you A LOT of time. We like to pay our agents quickly (usually within 24-48 hours). For experienced agents who qualify as a Premier agent, we pay you 100% commission split on all their deals. 

What do I need to do to start?

The first thing you'll need to do is click below to book an interview. You'll then need to complete a DISC profile assessment to find out your personality style. We tailor the training and coaching to your particular profile so it is needed. After we get your assessment and depending on your qualifications we then book you for onboarding as a beginner or as a premier agent. 

What is a Premier Agent?

Agents with a track record of closing over $3M in volume or 10 sales in the last 12 months. There are some exceptions, we will discuss those when you're ready to onboard. 

 

Who is considered a New Licensee?

We consider anyone who just got licensed a new licensee as well as any real estate agent who did not close at least 4 sales in the last 12 months.

What do you offer new licensees?

We offer all new licensees to begin our 1 on 1 mentoring. Your mentor will help you close your first 4 deals as soon as possible. You can shadow the mentor and get their constant support. Once you close your first 4 sales (within 12 months or less) you then move into the other programs we offer.
